Clare E. Bogdanowicz brings a unique perspective that positively impacts her veteran clients as she fights for their VA disability compensation benefits. She expertly combines a diverse legal career with being a military spouse to an active duty career Naval Aviator. Clare understands the many struggles involved with military service and takes it personally when veterans are hindered in seeking the compensation they deserve.

Background:

Clare was born in upstate New York but grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She then headed back east for college and law school, where she met and married her college sweetheart. The Navy adventure that followed has taken their family to duty stations in Japan, South America and Washington State. After finishing her husband’s recent command tour of an EA-18G operational squadron, Clare and her family PCSed from the Pacific Northwest to the Washington, DC area.

Personal Life:

When she is not at her desk, Clare is a mother to two young daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading for fun, walking her golden retriever, and exploring all that the DC area has to offer. During this tour, Clare and her family are on a mission to visit as many of Washington, DC’s museums as possible—and to eat their way through the area’s diverse restaurant and food scene along the way.

Legal Journey

Clare began her legal career with a move overseas to Japan where she worked remotely, traveled and immersed herself in the local culture. For over the next decade back in the U.S., she gained experience in both criminal and civil practice and Clare is a seasoned litigator and trial attorney. Wanting to give back to her military community, she joined Bartlett Legal Group in May 2025 to ensure veterans receive the benefits they are entitled to.
